Juliette Charlotte Deshayes, French cubist painter and watercolourist, born February 1, 1900 in Pontoise (Val-d'Oise). She was a pupil of André Lhote in his famous Montparnasse academy, where she studied alongside the artists Tarsila do Amaral, Tamara de Lempicka, Hans Hartung and Anna Bergman, Aurélie Nemours and many painters from the School of Paris.
