Magnificent oil on board representing the left side on the main entrance to the old Palais du Trocadéro in Paris (France), built in 1878 for the World’s Fair and sadly dismantled in 1935 to make way for a new construction. The balanced composition and use of light suggest a clear impressionist influence.
