Oil on canvas painting representing a coastal landscape in Cornwall by Paul Henri Renier (1922-1977). Paul Henri Renier was a French Belgian impressionist artist. He studied briefly in Paris and painted in the South of France, before travelling to the British Isles where he settled in and around the Cornish Coast. Renier was an extremely skilled and competent Impressionist painter with a superb understanding of both light, shade and perspective.
