French School, 18th century. This portrait represents a French nobleman wearing a reddish collarless dress coat and embroidered waistcoat. Both the coat and waistcoat have ornate spiral motif matching buttons. He also wears a ruffled shirt and white wig. Very decorative.

Condition: Good general condition. Relined. Could use minor restoration.
